Live Nativity Scene
Since 1954, the Live Nativity Scene has been held each evening from December 22 to 24 in front of the church as Rock Spring Presbyterian's way of celebrating the birth of Christ with our community.
Church School
It's not just Sunday school for children anymore, although that program is thriving. Our younger children learn about faith, love, Bible stories and joyful Christianity through art, stories, and lessons. As the children grow older, their classes explore deeper meanings of Christianity. Middle school and high school aged children meet for Sunday School and also meet on Sunday evenings for Youth Fellowship and fun.
Adult Sunday school classes vary from formal lessons using Presbyterian curricula to informal discussion groups. These programs seek to enhance our continuing growth in our spirituality, in our relationship with God, and in our understanding of the Christian faith.
Several other groups meet during the week for study, discussion, and fellowship. They include women's circles; senior citizen activities; and a book discussion group.
Weddings
Rock Spring Presbyterian Church has been a favorite site for weddings for many years. We open our doors to members and non-members alike for weddings. If you are interested in having your wedding at Rock Spring, please visit www.rspc.org/weddings.htm for more information.
